A credit card is taken to reserve your appointment

Even though we are not accepting credit cards as payment for services rendered, your credit card information is collected to reserve your appointment.

It is not activated unless we authorize it in person. You will be charged without a 24-hour cancellation notice.

Prices do not include tax

You are charged for services at the time of your appointment. Please make sure to ask the final price before your services. Tip is not included in pricing.

Arrive on time

If you arrive 15 minutes late, we may not be able to fulfill all your service requests especially if a client is booked directly after you. We will do our best to accommodate you, but understand that we may not be able to accommodate you or your full design requests.

Come with a design in mind

Have at least 2-3 nail design inspiration prior to your appointment to save your time and money.

Please be decisive about your art and colors as this will save us time during session.

If your appointment runs over…

…a fee of $20 will be applied accordingly per 10 minutes of extra time.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

We reserve the right to cancel any appointment prior to the time of service when we must.

We kindly ask that all clients adhere to their scheduled appointment times, in order to provide each and every customer with the best possible service. This will greatly help us schedule and conduct the flow of business, and to serve our guests efficiently and effectively.

We ask that you make service and appointment decisions in a timely manner, allowing us to serve you and others as best as possible. If you need more time, it is recommended to consult MINU STUDIOS’ website and/or contact us about the look you would like to achieve.

If your decision is not made by the assigned time your service is to start, we will act accordingly depending on the schedule and situation. If your service runs over the allotted time, we may charge extra for this additional time, or reserve the right to decline the remainder of the service.

What services does MINU STUDIOS offer?

We offer nail care and artistry. We also offer complementary drinks and occasional snacks!

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

We take your health and the health of our employees seriously. We follow strict COVID-19 protocols, including mask wearing, sanitation of all equipment after each customer is served. Our staff is fully vaccinated and we have an air purifier with a HEPA filter operating during all services.

How long is each service?

Each service takes approximately 30 to 180 minutes, depending on the service chosen. Under special circumstances, an appointment may run a few minutes over this time estimate.

Do you offer acrylic or hard gel nail services?

We only offer soft gel application. We do not offer any hard gels, acrylic, or dip powder at the lounge.

What if I already have gel, acrylic, or dip powder on my nails?

We do not offer hard gel, acrylic or extension removals from other salons. Please arrive at your appointment with these removed. You will be charged the full service fee if this is not honored, and any extra appointment time will not be accommodated.

What if I’m running late?

If you are going to be late for an appointment, we kindly ask that you give us a call. We will try to accommodate you as best as we are able.

Do you allow pets in the salon?

We love animals. However, we're not allowed any pets inside of the lounge due to health department restrictions and the comfort of other clients.

How do I host an event or party at the lounge?

Send us an email at hi.minustudios@gmail.com to inquire about events. We will be happy to assist you in planning any kind of special occasion or celebration.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to settle in and select any customizable options for your service(s).

MINU STUDIOS’ commitment to the utmost quality

We stand behind our commitment to provide you with the best quality service possible. If you have followed the guidelines after your service but experience an issue that requires fixing, please contact us and we will do what is possible to remedy the situation. Please note that there may be exemptions. We may be able to fix the following: 

i. Gel polish that chips or lifts within 3 days of application. 

ii. Regular polish that chips within 1 day of application. 

Contagious skin conditions

We reserve the right to decline service upon the suspicion of a potentially contagious skin condition, such as fungus among others, that may affect the health of others on the premises. As we strive to provide a healthy and comfortable environment to everyone at MINU STUDIOS, we ask for your kind understanding.

Potential allergic reactions

We hold no responsibility for any allergic reactions you may experience at the salon. Please consult with your doctor before coming in for each service. Furthermore, please inform us if there is any health concerns we should be aware of prior to your appointment.
