Jeremy
Avellino pursues the crossroads of architecture, design, and
fabrication through Bright Common, his design studio in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. He is interested in recapturing design’s inherent
potential to stimulate change for the greater good. He attempts
this by exploring sustainability, efficiency, economy, and therefore,
beauty, in design solutions both great and small. Past work includes
'zero-energy', sustainable housing in Philadelphia, a community
built thrift store, and his own design-built house. Current work
includes warehouse renovations, various residential and commercial
projects, and custom fabrication work.
